Your Tasks and Duties

In this key position you will take over strategic, departmental and disciplinary management of the subdivision of Marketing & Sales in the Electronics Business Division for the Americas. In doing so you will be responsible for the regional sales strategy, implementation of corporate-wide standards as well as sustainable positioning of our Group of companies on the American market.

Management & responsibilities

  • Departmental and disciplinary management of the subdivision of Marketing & Sales, including resource control and adherence to company specifications within a functional organizational matrix
  • Active example setting of the Zollner corporate culture for all management and employees

Strategic orientation

  • Responsibility for the creation and implementation of the subdivision strategy as well as the regional sales strategy to achieve midterm growth targets for assigned locations
  • Participation in corporate-wide strategy and regional business planning using impulses from the region in unison with the leadership of the Electronics Business Division for the Americas

Market development & representation

  • Opening new markets and customer groups, including creation of internal and external potential and risk analyses to determine future success and growth potential
  • Confident representation of the company toward customers, partners and institutions

Coordination & collaboration

  • Development of and responsibility for release of regional guidelines/specifications, ensuring compliance with specifications from corporate central divisions
  • Additionally, ensures implementation of the Zollner organizational model through active structuring of the subdivision

Marketing responsibilities

  • Control of and participation in regional marketing activities in coordination with corporate marketing to ensure a consistent brand presence

Processes & quality

  • Responsibility for implementation of business processes, such as Market Research & Marketing Strategy, Marketing & Communications, New Customer Acquisition and Customer Relationship Management as well as adherence to division goals and key indicators
  • Further development of processes and structures in the area of responsibility with a focus on efficiency, quality and customer satisfaction

Opportunity and risk management

  • Analysis of regional developments and derivation of strategic measures such as new markets, business models or acquisitions

Projects & Networks

  • Lead task forces (escalations) and cross-divisional projects as well as develop and maintain both internal and external networks

Your Profile

You bring sales and marketing experience, leadership competence and strategic thinking with you. Your personality is characterized by implementation strength, communication ability and intercultural understanding.

Required specialist knowledge

  • Several years of management experience in international sales in the electronics or EMS sector
  • Verifiable success in strategy implementation and business development
  • Secure economic understanding and experience with matrix structures
  • Established knowledge in market analysis, business development and marketing
  • Business-fluent language skills in English, further foreign languages are desired

Personal competences

  • Leadership skills, decisive and strategic thinking
  • High level of autonomy, ability to work under pressure and initiative
  • Highly developed communication ability and intercultural competence
  • Readiness for international travel (>80%)
